Marketing And Sales Why Can't We All Just Get Along
Ken Thoreson - Renowned Sales Consultant, Speaker and Trainer
In May we are doing something very special. Instead of a live and broadcast session we are running a broadcast only event. I know what you are all thinking, isn't that just a Webinar? Sort of but with a twist. Ken will speak for 45 minutes to be followed by a 45 minute one on one video interview that Eric will conduct, with his own questions (think Jay Leno :-)) followed by questions from the audience. Ken is a sales expert, his view on marketing may be very different from the traditional views of the marketing executive. I know you will enjoy this event, please join us on May 16th, 9:00 - 10:30AM EST.

About the Event:
On May 16th at 9am EST the rubber meets the road* Nurture Marketing Roundtable has invited a sales management thought leader to discuss the on-going issue of sales and marketing not working together. (yes, a sales guy to talk to our marketing) Lack of corrdination, politics, mis-trust, and poor communication have caused sales and marketing to be mis-aligned and ineffective in many organizations. According to the Aberdeen Group, 80% of all marketing expenditures for marketing materials and lead generation are wasted and sales spends 40 hours a month making up their own tools. And technology can be partially to blame!
In this session, Ken Thoreson, Acumen Management Group’s, President will discuss the issues from the sales leadership perspective as well as his recommendations on how to break down the barriers of between sales and marketing. Eric will also represent marketing and interview Ken during the session.
The outcome? You will be better postioned to achieve your objectives. Ken’s blog: www.YourSalesManagementGuru.com has been rated in the top 10 sales blogs in the US.
Join us for this highly entertaining and interactive Roundtable.
*It means: "when you get to the action", or "when you get busy", "when it gets serious", or it might mean something like "the last word or final outcome of something"... something along those lines, depending on context.
